Steps if OSHA presents on the project site

  1. Be cordial and polite to inspector.
  2. Ask for identification of OSHA compliance officer and reason for the visit.
  3. Inform OSHA compliance officer that company policy requires ABR’s designated
    representative be present for the inspection.
  4. Call safety director immediately! Bill Pedigo 214-288-6218
  5. Escort compliance officer as directly as possible to the office trailer to await the
    company representative.
  6. Even if it seems like normal conversation, if an OSHA officer asks to speak with workers,
    you are authorizing them to begin the inspection.
